Cute Halloween card

Good morning!

I am today on the Papermilldirect blog with this tutorial:

I absolutely love making Halloween cards and I think this would be a fun card to make for little children.

To make this card I used:

You will also need:

  • White pigment ink and a sponge
  • Oval die
  • Alphabet die
  • Die cutting machine
  • Glitter
  • Black and gold enamel dots
  • Google eyes

To make my card base I used a piece of Black Plain Card 250gsm which I trimmed down, scored and folded in half. I then used a piece of Dark Violet Plain Card 240gsm added some pigment ink to the middle and adhered this down onto my card front. I then cut down another piece of Black Plain Card 250gsm and run this through my die cutting machine using a oval die. I adhered this to my card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. I then added an insert inside my card using some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm so that you can write inside.

I then die cut some ghosts and drew a smiley face and added the google eyes using some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml, I then adhered these onto the card with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

For the boo greeting I die cut the words using White Card Super Smooth 300gsm three times and glued them together using some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. I then added some PVA glue to the top layer and added some glitter. Once dry I adhered this onto my card using some more Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.

To finish off the card I added some enamel dots.

I had lots of fun creating this card and I think the ghosts are too cute to spook young children.

Thanks for stopping by!
