Interactive Halloween card

Good morning crafty friends.

I have another cute Halloween card for you today and it’s a interactive card. The card is flat and you just pull the tag which transforms the card into a 3D card. You can even write your message on the “pull tag”. How fun!

For this card you will need:

Spellbinders June large die of the month

Mommy Lhey PeekABoo kit

Papermilldirect White Card super smooth

To start with I die cut the interactive die using plain white card. I then die cut it again onto spotty paper. Adhere the two pieces together around the edges so that the moving tag doesn’t get stuck otherwise your card won’t “pull”.

Once this is done decorate the card front using some images from the PeekABoo kit.

As you pull the tag up the middle of the card will make a fold like an easel card. I then decorated the the tag and lower part of the card.

This is why I used two pieces of card so that the part that’s hidden once pulled will reveal a message.

I love how this turned out and what’s even better is that it folds down completely flat so that it will fit in a standard size envelope.

I can’t wait to make some more interactive cards. I had so much fun making this.

Spellbinders cardmaking star

Hello friends!

Spellbinders are having a card making star competition how exciting!

Here’s my entry for this fantastic competition:

I’ve used the following dies to make this fun shaker card:

Botanical bliss floral trellis die

Getting all mushy Debi Adams stamp and dies

Market fresh the pearfect avocado

Debi Adams Toast and Jam

I added the pear stalks as hands and used the avocado pip as a nose. I think they look so cute especially with some wobbly eyes that I added. I also heat embossed the greeting with some white embossing powder.

I’ve also used the Debi Adams Toast and Jam set for this card:

I stamped all the images and coloured them in with copic markers. I made my own background using the individual stamps. I also heat embossed the sentiment and added some Nuvo drops to make “jam”.

I hope you like it!

Have a great day!

A sweet congratulations card

Hello there!

I have this cute congratulations card up on the Papermilldirect blog today.

Its always handy to have a congratulations card at the ready so I made one that can be used for different occasions.

You will need:

You will also need:

Pmdv4

To make the card base I used a piece of Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm which I trimmed to 4 1/4 and scored at 5 7/8. I then trimmed down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and scored every quarter to make a textured background. I adhered this onto my card base using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. With the leftover White Card Super Smooth 250gsm I die cut the word congrats 5 times and adhered each layer with Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. I then adhered this onto my card front.

Stamp and colour your images onto some more White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and cut them out. Adhere to your card with Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

To add some finishing touches I added some nuvo drops. You can add any embellishment that you like, I hope you have fun making this card.

Have a lovely day!

To make the card base I used a piece of White Card Plain 250gsm that I trimmed down to 4 1/4 and scored halfway to make my base. I then trimmed down a piece of Rose Gold Pearlised Card 300gsm and adhered this onto my base using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I die cut my stockings with a piece of Ice Gold Pearlised Card 300gsm. I then die cut the snowflake die with Orchid Double Sided Pearlised Card 300gsm. I adhered these onto the card with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I then embossed the greeting onto some Maya Blue Double Sided Pearlised Card 300gsm with some gold embossing powder and cut this out and adhered this onto my card base using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

Spellbinders cards

Good morning friends! I hope you are having a great start to your day.

Today I have two cards to share with you all using Spellbinders products .

I love Spellbinders dies and stamps they stamp and cut beautifully and I absolutely love embossing the dies too you get so much detail.

For my first card I used the wonderful stamp set Bobbin wishes stamp set sweet collection by Tammy Tutterow

How adorable is this stamp and it’s especially perfect for all the sewing fans out there too. I loved colouring this stamp in and it stamped perfect the first time too. You can purchase this stamp set HERE .

I also used a die cut heart from the die collection Shapeabilities posies and pennies sew sweet collection by Tammy Tutterow .

You can purchase this gorgeous die set HERE .

I die cut the heart using the Spellbinders platinum pack 1 burlap and canvas sheets. I love adding some texture to my cards and this canvas sheet die cut like a dream. I also used the large stitch die for my card base.

The second card I made I used a lot of Spellbinders dies for this and I had so much fun.

I made my card base using the large stitched die from the Shapeabilities poises and pennies sew sweet collection by Tammy Tutterow and I also made this large flower and tag with the same dies. You can purchase this wonderful die set HERE . I added a small circle die from the collection onto my flower and I used Spellbinders platinum pack 1 burlap and canvas sheets to make the flower centre.

You can purchase this set HERE .

I also added this Shapeabilities Woodland Deer Etched Dies for the deer. I really love how the details pop once you emboss the die.

I also used this stunning Card creator poppies pocket card etched dies for the beautiful die background. Again I embossed this after die cutting and the details really made me smile after this was embossed it’s incredible.
