Happy birthday card

Hello crafty friends.

You can never have too many birthday cards ready to be sent so I made this cute birthday card using Pretty pink posh stamps and dies .

I have also used some pretty Papermilldirect Perla Sirio colour card and Papermilldirect silver glitter non shedding card.

I also added some pretty pigment ink and coloured the images in with my copic markers. I think these images are just adorable and they were fun to colour and bring them to life.

If your wondering what the puffy dots are they are polystyrene foam balls. I thought it would be fun to use these instead of sequins.

And I have to say the Silver glitter card is pretty amazing as it does what it says and not shed glitter. I’ve used glitter card before and most of it ends up on my hands and everywhere but the card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today I hope you have a great evening!

Unicorn birthday card

Hello crafty friends.

I absolutely love unicorns and made a sweet birthday card for the girls today. I’ve used this adorable waffle flower stamp it just makes me smile every time I look at it.

I’ve made a shaker circle so that the unicorn is looking out. I’ve also heat embossed the sentiment strip and die cut the word hooray in glitter card because let’s be honest it’s not a proper unicorn card without glitter.

I could of easily added more glitter but I had to stop myself ha ha!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a great day.

Turn the piece of card over and use Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml or Stick it! Double Sided Tape 6mmand add this around the edge of the circle. Place your piece of acetate over this and let the glue dry. Once dry use some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm and run this around the edge of the circle. Fill the circle up with sequins and gems and adhere to the card base.

Using a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm stamp and colour all your images and colour them in. Trim them out and adhere to the card using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

On another piece of Turquoise Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm stamp the greeting and heat emboss this with white embossing powder. On another piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm stamp and heat emboss a birthday greeting and adhere both to your card.

Boo-yah it’s your birthday

Hello! I am up today on the papermilldirect blog with a fun bright monster card.

I love making bright and colourful cards and today we have this adorable monster birthday card.

The products I used are:

You will also need:

  • Monster stamp ( Out of this world Uniquely Creative)
  • White Embossing Powder (WOW)
  • Copic Markers
  • Distress Ink
  • Sponge

Monster Card

To start with I used a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm which I trimmed down, scored and folded in half for my card base. I then trimmed down another piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm that will be used for the ink blending.

I used some bright distress inks for the background and I started by gently adding the colours and then blending them together with the sponge. Its very easy to do using White Card Super Smooth 250gsm as it blends like butter.

After this was dry I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder and adhered this to my card base using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I then stamped and coloured my images onto some more White Card Super Smooth 250gsmand cut them out. I then placed them onto my card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

Don’t be afraid to try different coloured inks when making your background. The White Card Super Smooth 250gsm is fantastic for blending inks and pigment inks are also a dream to blend.

I hope you have fun making a bright card and use any colour you like for the backgrounds. Its so fun and easy to do.
