Where flowers bloom..

Hello crafty friends.

I have another sweet card to share with you today using the beautiful fun release from Waffle flower crafts.

For this card I’ve used the Jar of happiness stamp set and matching dies and the jars sentiment stamp set .

I copic coloured the images and ink blended the background using distress ink. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto a piece of black card.

I adhered all the images onto my ink blended background and added some Nuvo drops to finish the card off.

You can view all the beautiful waffle flower products Here.

I love how this card turned out and the sentiment is just lovely.

Let it snow!!

Hello there!

I’m up today on the papermilldirect blog with a Christmas card tutorial.

Christmas is fast approaching and I thought it may be helpful to show you how I started my Christmas cards.

My tip is to make a card early and just one to start with as it can sometimes be overwhelming.

A2

For this card you will need:

You will also need:

  • Animal Stamps (Waffle Flower Crafts)
  • Copic Markers
  • Acetate
  • Sequins
  • Rectangle Die
  • Embossing Folder (Fun Stampers Journey)

To make my card base I trimmed down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm. I trimmed this at 4 1/8 inches and scored at 5 7/8 inches. I then trimmed down another piece that I embossed with a embossing folder. This will be peeking through your window shaker card.

Next I trimmed down a piece of Perla Sirio Colour Card 290gsm that is the same size as my card front. I used my rectangle die to make a window. I then adhered acetate over the back of this and added foam tape all around the edges. Fill the inside with sequins and adhere to your card.

Next I stamped and coloured all the images onto a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsmand trimmed them out. I adhered them onto the card front.

To finish off the card I heat embossed the greeting onto a piece of Lampone Sirio Colour Card 290gsm. I used white embossing powder and trimmed this down. I adhered this onto my card using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I hope this will inspire you to make a start on your Christmas cards.

Unicorn birthday card

Hello crafty friends.

I absolutely love unicorns and made a sweet birthday card for the girls today. I’ve used this adorable waffle flower stamp it just makes me smile every time I look at it.

I’ve made a shaker circle so that the unicorn is looking out. I’ve also heat embossed the sentiment strip and die cut the word hooray in glitter card because let’s be honest it’s not a proper unicorn card without glitter.

I could of easily added more glitter but I had to stop myself ha ha!

Have a great day.

Today is a good day to be happy

Hi! I love this quote from waffle flower crafts “today is a good day to be happy”. It’s so true isn’t it we often wake up feeling the opposite so I am going to keep this quote with me. It’s so important to wake up feeling positive.

I recently got this cute stamp set and wanted to make something straight away.

I love this cute bear on the bike along with the quote so here is the card I made I hope it cheers you up.

I stamped all the images with versamark ink and coloured them in with copics. I also used a metal die to emboss the square which is great as now I can use my dies to emboss along with embossing folders!

This bestie card is made using mama elephant stamps, again I coloured them in with my copic markers. This card took a long time to make but I really enjoyed it, I started with my distress inks to blend the background and die cut the words bestie. I was going to leave it there but I thought it would be fun to turn this into a shaker card, as you know I love a shaker!

I then added all the pieces together and ended up with this as the finished result.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I hope you have a great day!
