Mouse Birthday Card

Hello friends!

I’m sharing a card that I made for Papermilldirect using the sweet zodiac mouse stamps by mama elephant.

I used some Papermilldirect super smooth white card for my background and added distress inks to the card. The mice are watercolored using zig real brush markers.

I love making colourful cards and using my inks to brighten up a background.

The sentiment stamp and die is also mama elephant and I used a bright pink ink to stamp the sentiment.

I hope you have a lovely day thanks for stopping by today!

Bunny thank you

Good morning! I’m up on the Papermilldirect blog today showing you how to create this sweet card.

The products I used are:

White Card Super Smooth 300gsm

Pink Plain Card 290gsm

Silver Sparkle Card 280gsm

Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm

Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml

• Thank you die

• stitched die

• bunny stamps

• copic markers

• cuttlebug machine

• vellum

• sequins

To start with I made my card base using some Pink Plain Card 290gsm, which I cut and folded in half. I then cut down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm for my card front. I placed some stitched dies over my card and ran it through the cuttlebug machine.

The next step was to stamp and colour the bunnies and I used some more of the White Card Super Smooth 300gsm for this. I then cut the images out and placed them aside.

You will then need a thank you die and I used some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm to cut out the thank you, I did this 4 times and glued the pieces together with Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. I then cut one more piece out using the pretty Silver Sparkle Card 280gsm and stuck this onto the other dies. This adds great dimension to your cards.

I then adhered the card front to the base using some more Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml, once this was done I glued down the thank you die and added the bunnies to the bottom of the card using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

To add a bit more texture I added some vellum and finished off the card with sequins. I love how nice the pink and silver card go together and this colour combination is definitely one of my favourites.

I hope you enjoy making this soft and pretty card.

Thanks for stopping by today have a lovely day!

Today is a good day to be happy

Hi! I love this quote from waffle flower crafts “today is a good day to be happy”. It’s so true isn’t it we often wake up feeling the opposite so I am going to keep this quote with me. It’s so important to wake up feeling positive.

I recently got this cute stamp set and wanted to make something straight away.

I love this cute bear on the bike along with the quote so here is the card I made I hope it cheers you up.

I stamped all the images with versamark ink and coloured them in with copics. I also used a metal die to emboss the square which is great as now I can use my dies to emboss along with embossing folders!

This bestie card is made using mama elephant stamps, again I coloured them in with my copic markers. This card took a long time to make but I really enjoyed it, I started with my distress inks to blend the background and die cut the words bestie. I was going to leave it there but I thought it would be fun to turn this into a shaker card, as you know I love a shaker!

I then added all the pieces together and ended up with this as the finished result.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I hope you have a great day!

Seeing stars

Hi!

If I see any craft bits with stars I automatically think of Christmas so what better way to use this background stamp than on a Christmas card. I used a grey tone paper and heat embossed white embossing powder onto it, the stamp is by hero arts and I absolutely love it.

I then stamped these my favourite things stamps and coloured them in with my copic markers.

I have so many more cards to make it’s crazy!!!

I did make another card too! I used these adorable mama elephant stamps.

Okay so this doesn’t have stars as a background but it’s got polka dots…

I used some embossing paste for this one which looks like giant snow ha ha! I’ve actually really been enjoying my embossing powders and paste lately and I treated myself to some new bright colours which I will share on another card.

Thanks so much for popping by today I will be back soon!

Have a wonderful day

The start of Christmas cards

Hello!

How are you getting on with your Christmas cards this year? I’ve only made about 5….. every year I always think I will start sooner but it never happens and I never have enough for friends and family…..

I saw these cute mama elephant stamps and I had to have them, actually I don’t own many Christmas stamps so I’m going to have to work on that 😉

I made this card earlier and started by stamping the trees and images. I used my copic markers for this and added some snowy hills using my die cuts. It actually took me ages after stamping and colouring to get the finished result.

I added a heat embossed sentiment to finish the card off.

Thank you so much for stopping by I’m hoping to get a few more cards made this week.

Have a lovely day!
