It’s A Penguin Party!

Hi there I hope your having a great Thursday. I’m sharing a card I made for the Time For Tea Designs blog today.

I am so in love with the new release and wanted to make a fun Christmas card using the Skating By Penguins Stamp Set.

These penguins are so cute!

To start with I used the Falalala Scalloped Slimline Die Set and using a pink piece of card I die cut a frame. I then used the Falalala die and die cut this using some silver sparkle card. I then used a piece of white card and made my slimline card base and I started to ink blend some blue distress ink onto my card using my Beautiful Blender Brush. I started to ink blend the top of the card in blue and then I switched to a light purple foe the bottom of the card. I then added some hills using the Landscape Edge Die and some more white card.

I wanted to add some details to my sky and I used the Carolling Critters Stamp Set that have snowflakes in the stamp set. I used my inks that I used to make the sky and stamped the snowflakes onto my card. I then adhered the hills down using some double sided tape.

I then stamped out my images using Memento Black Ink and the Skating By Penguins Stamp Set. I coloured the penguins in with my copic markers then I used the Coordinating Dies and run them through my die cutting machine. I always secure the dies with some washi tape so that they they don’t slip while being die cut. I then adhered the frame, Penguins and greeting onto my card using some Foam Pads.

To finish my card off I added some sparkle using some Stickles onto their hats and the hills.

I hope this card inspires you to make a fun penguin scene. Don’t forget you can save 10% off your Time For Tea Designs purchases using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout.

Time For Tea Designs Card Video

Hello there! I have a fun cardmaking tutorial that you can watch Here using some brand new goodies from the November release.

I have used the Die-namic Display Card Die for my video today along with the adorable Skating By Penguins Stamp & Die Set for my critters. I have also used the Let It Snow Die and some gorgeous snowflakes using the Falalala Slimline Die.
I first started by putting the card together. I die cut all the pieces using my die cutting machine and the Die-namic Display Card Die. In the video I will also show you how to create a curved line at the top of your card. I then adhered the card together using PVA glue.
I then stamped and coloured in the adorable penguins. I used my copic markers to colour them in and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Next I die cut the sentiment using the Let It Snow Die and adhered this onto the back of my card. I also added some white paint to my card so that it looks like snow.
Using the Falalala Slimline Die I die cut out some snowflakes and adhered them onto my card. These snowflakes are so delicate and pretty. Your card is now complete.

Ahoy Matey

Hi there! I’m up on the magengo blog today with a fun card.

I used the Ahoy Aoy Stamp Set. How cute are these stamps! I absolutely love them and this stamp is jam packed with images.
For my card today I used a light blue card for my base and I die cut a zigzag card panel using Sunny Studio Stamps die. I then ink blended some waves onto my background using some distress ink in tumbled glass. I then die cut some clouds in white card and lightly ink blended the edges again using tumbled glass distress ink.
Using my silhouette machine I die cut the boat and used my inks to colour the boat. I then added an octopus and used my inks to colour the octopus in. I added a smiley face to the octopus.
I then printed and coloured my stamps and coloured in the images with copic markers,. I then cut them out and started to adhere the images to my card. I didn’t have a sentiment that said Ahoy Matey so I used my silhouette machine to die cut the greeting. I used my markers to colour the greeting before adhering them onto my card. I loved how this turned out and those images are just so cute!

Honey Friends Bear Card

Hello there!

I’m sharing a fun card today on the Magengo blog.

I’m sharing a sweet card today using the Honey Friend stamp set. These stamps are just so cute and I love the bear that’s found the honeypot!

I wanted to make a slimline card for my images as I can fit more on the card than a standard size card. I firstly printed the stamps out and then coloured them in with my markers. After the colouring was complete I trimmed them out with my scissors. Next I used some distress ink to add some colour to my card.

Once the ink blending was completed I adhered my images onto the card base. I then added a die cut to the top of the tree and adhered my sentiment.

To finish my card off I added some dovecraft enamel dots to the honey jar so it looks like honey leaking out of the jar. I then adhered some yellow and gold sequins onto my card. The bears and bees were so fun to colour!

A Card Full Of Critters

Hey crafty friends, I hope your having a good week.

I wanted to make a card that’s crammed with cute Time For Tea Designs images. The best way for me to do this was to use a stepper card.

I cut my card using a silhouette machine along with the trees and started to put the card together. Once my stepper card was completed I started to stamp my images. I used Be Slothy Stamp SetSpeech Bubbles Stamp Set , Treat Yourself Stamp SetUp, Up & Away Stamp SetBearing Gifts Stamp Set ,Bears Picnic Stamp Set and the Be Owlsome Stamp Set. Once my images were all stamped I coloured the images in with my copic markers. Using the coordinating dies I then ran them through my die cutting machine.

Next I used the Windmill Add On Die and using the fence die and some white card I ran this through my die cutting machine and adhered this onto the first fold of the stepper card. I then added some images to the card  using foam tape. For the owl, bear with a kite, sloth and greeting I added some acetate to the images and adhered them into my card to make it look like the images are floating.

I loved how this card turned out and it’s fun to make too! You can use any stamps for this design I thought it would look really cute using the chosen images.
