Party

To make the card base I trimmed down a piece of Turquoise Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm to 4 1/4 inches and scored this at 5 7/8 inches. I then trimmed another piece of card 4 1/4 inches by 5 7/8 inches so that this piece will sit on the card base.

Using this piece of card and a circle die run this through the die cutting machine so you will have a circle cut out in the center of your card. Turn the piece of card over and use Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml or Stick it! Double Sided Tape 6mmand add this around the edge of the circle. Place your piece of acetate over this and let the glue dry. Once dry use some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm and run this around the edge of the circle. Fill the circle up with sequins and gems and adhere to the card base.

Using a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm stamp and colour all your images and colour them in. Trim them out and adhere to the card using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

On another piece of Turquoise Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm stamp the greeting and heat emboss this with white embossing powder. On another piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm stamp and heat emboss a birthday greeting and adhere both to your card.

To finish the card off add some extra sequins or gems.

Mommy Lhey Show And Tell

Hello friends!

I hope your having a wonderful Saturday. It’s our Mommy Lhey Show And Tell day today be sure to check out the rest of the design teams creations they are gorgeous!!!!

I love making fun and colourful cards so I thought it would be great to add a shaker element too!

I have used the beautiful Mommy Lhey Tea Time Digital Sticker Kit for this sweet card. Who doesn’t love your favourite drink with something sweet!

If your wondering what colour card I used I simply ink blended the background with Mommy Lhey Bey ink set using the ink “milkshake” and it does remind me of strawberry milkshakes! I have said this before but the inks are so pigmented it’s crazy! I inked up my sponge and had enough to ink blend 3 other pieces! Wow!

I love how this turned out and the best part of using digitals is we don’t always have time to stamp and colour so this is perfect for that. Plus they never run out you just simply print more! Saving you money in the long run. Bonus!

Don’t forget you can save 10% off your order using the code: MLDVIC10 at checkout.

You can have a look at all the awesome products HERE.

Have a lovely day!!

Summer shaker card

Hello friends!

I have made a fun summer shaker card using Mommy Lhey summer and tails digital kit and Mommy Lhey Under The Sea digital kit.

I love the images so much and thought it would be fun to make a bright card with them.

I crammed blue sequins into the shaker part so it looks like a pool because we all know mermaids love to swim in sequins.

I also used some bright colours of card from Papermilldirect turquoise Cumbria , Daffodil plain card and Raspberry pink plain card.

I thought the colours would really suit the images.

Thanks for popping by today
