I’m sharing a card that I made for Papermilldirect using the sweet zodiac mouse stamps by mama elephant.
I used some Papermilldirect super smooth white card for my background and added distress inks to the card. The mice are watercolored using zig real brush markers. I love making colourful cards and using my inks to brighten up a background. The sentiment stamp and die is also mama elephant and I used a bright pink ink to stamp the sentiment.
I hope you have a lovely day thanks for stopping by today!
I’m up on the papermilldirect blog today with a fun box card that also folds to fit into your standard size envelopes.
I used: Raspberry Pink Plain Card 240gsm Apple Green Card Plain 240gsm White Card Super Smooth 250gsm Violet Plain Card 290gsm You will also need the following craft supplies: Paper Trimmer Scoring board Critter stamps I used Hello Bluebird Rectangle Die or any shape die ( this will be for your window) White embossing powder Heat gun Foam Tape Pva glue To start with you will need to cut down two pieces of card to the following measurements: 5 inches by 3/4 then turn the card and trim at 4 1/2 Next score a line at 4 1/2 and 5 1/4 inches. Next using one piece of card I die cut a rectangle so that when the box is put together this will be showing the inside. Depending on the size of your die you will need to trim the side of your box flap so that once it’s all adhered it will all fit together nicely. I did adhere my box together before working on the inside of the box. For the inside I trimmed down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm to A6 size and ink blended the background using inks. I coloured all my images and trimmed them out. I then die cut some grass using Apple Green Card Plain 240gsm and adhered this to the bottom of my insert and also behind the die cut piece of box. Next I adhered the A6 piece into my box using double sided tape, I then added all the critters using foam tape and PVA glue. For my greeting I stamped a sentiment onto a piece of Violet Plain Card 290gsmand heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I trimmed this down and adhered acetate to the sentiment and adhered onto the bottom of the box. Your box card is now complete. You can trim down a smaller piece of card and adhere to the back of your box to write your sentiment. I hope you have fun making some box cards.

I am up today on the papermilldirect blog, here is the tutorial:
It’s nice to know that spring will be here soon so I made a card with some lovely flowers on.
The products I used are:
You will also need:
To start with I made my card base using a piece of
Pale Turquoise Plain Card 240gsm which I trimmed at 4 1\8 and scored at 5 7\8 inches for the fold. I then placed the card front in my die cutting machine making sure it was just the front of the card and not the back and I die cut the scalloped circle. I then adhered a piece of White Card Hemp 255gsm to the back of my card front.
I then die cut the words thanks using Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm and
White Card Super Smooth 250gsm. Place this aside for a moment.
For the flowers I stamped the images with Versafine ink onto
White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and sprinkled clear embossing powder over the top. Heat set this with a heat gun. Colour your images in with watercolour paints or pens. Trim the images out and place onto the card front using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. Place the die onto the card with some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
To finish the card off I added some clear drops and adhered these onto the card with
Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
Your card is now complete.
I hope you have a great day!
I really cannot wait for spring now so I thought I would make a card with some spring flowers and of course added a few koalas and fairies…
This card is what I would call “supersize”. It’s pretty long and if you wanted to make one it’s just an A4 card folded lengthways.
I love making these long cards as you can fit loads onto it the only problem is finding a nice fitting envelope, but don’t let that put you off there are A4 envelopes available.
As you can see there are lots of different images on the card where on a standard card I could fit maybe 3 large images. I did take quite a bit of time to stamp and colour the images but it’s totally worth it I had fun making this and to me that’s what’s important when crafting.
All the products I used for this card are:
Papermilldirect White card hammered
Uniquely creative flawed and fabulous stamp
Uniquely creative mushroom pals stamp and colour kit
Uniquely creative G’day mate stamp set
I also used my watercolour paints to colour them in and lots of foam tape too!
I love how this turned out. If you have time try a long card next time your crafting and of course it will certainly make someone smile and I’m sure they will appreciate the effort too.
I also have a Facebook page I recently set up you can find it here:
Pop over and say hi!
Thanks for stopping by today.
I absolutely love reading and I read every night so when I saw this
Uniquely creative stamp and colour kit Read Past Your Bedtime kit I instantly fell in love with it. I love the sweet girl on the chair and how sweet is that little dinosaur!
For this card I had an idea in my head of her reading and dreaming and I wanted a relaxing theme so I made a night sky with white paint so they will look like stars. I used
Papermilldirect blue navy Nettuno card which has a texture too so I thought it would work great with my idea.
I then stamped the images and watercolored them in. For the sentiments I used some Wow gold embossing powder onto
Papermilldirect plain black card and adhered them onto the card.
I then added a few
Uniquely creative bling drops to finish the card off.
I think she looks very relaxed sitting in her chair among the stars. Now I’m off to do some reading myself….
Thank you for stopping by today.
I hope you find time to read hopefully among the stars too!
With Valentine’s Day tomorrow I thought I better make a card (any excuse to craft) ha ha!
So for this card I wanted to do some heat embossing and I used some silver embossing powder by wow embossing. The beautiful flower stamps are by

The gorgeous card is
I hope you have a wonderful day and if your celebrating Valentine’s Day have a great day tomorrow.
