I am up today on the papermilldirect blog, here is the tutorial:
It’s nice to know that spring will be here soon so I made a card with some lovely flowers on.
The products I used are:
You will also need:
To start with I made my card base using a piece of Pale Turquoise Plain Card 240gsm which I trimmed at 4 1\8 and scored at 5 7\8 inches for the fold. I then placed the card front in my die cutting machine making sure it was just the front of the card and not the back and I die cut the scalloped circle. I then adhered a piece of White Card Hemp 255gsm to the back of my card front.
I then die cut the words thanks using Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm and White Card Super Smooth 250gsm. Place this aside for a moment.
For the flowers I stamped the images with Versafine ink onto White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and sprinkled clear embossing powder over the top. Heat set this with a heat gun. Colour your images in with watercolour paints or pens. Trim the images out and place onto the card front using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. Place the die onto the card with some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
To finish the card off I added some clear drops and adhered these onto the card with Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
Your card is now complete.
I hope you have a great day!
I really cannot wait for spring now so I thought I would make a card with some spring flowers and of course added a few koalas and fairies…
This card is what I would call “supersize”. It’s pretty long and if you wanted to make one it’s just an A4 card folded lengthways.
I love making these long cards as you can fit loads onto it the only problem is finding a nice fitting envelope, but don’t let that put you off there are A4 envelopes available.
As you can see there are lots of different images on the card where on a standard card I could fit maybe 3 large images. I did take quite a bit of time to stamp and colour the images but it’s totally worth it I had fun making this and to me that’s what’s important when crafting.
All the products I used for this card are:
Papermilldirect White card hammered
Uniquely creative flawed and fabulous stamp
Uniquely creative mushroom pals stamp and colour kit
Uniquely creative G’day mate stamp set
I also used my watercolour paints to colour them in and lots of foam tape too!
I love how this turned out. If you have time try a long card next time your crafting and of course it will certainly make someone smile and I’m sure they will appreciate the effort too.
I also have a Facebook page I recently set up you can find it here:
Pop over and say hi!
Thanks for stopping by today.
I absolutely love reading and I read every night so when I saw this Uniquely creative stamp and colour kit Read Past Your Bedtime kit I instantly fell in love with it. I love the sweet girl on the chair and how sweet is that little dinosaur!
For this card I had an idea in my head of her reading and dreaming and I wanted a relaxing theme so I made a night sky with white paint so they will look like stars. I used Papermilldirect blue navy Nettuno card which has a texture too so I thought it would work great with my idea.
I then stamped the images and watercolored them in. For the sentiments I used some Wow gold embossing powder onto Papermilldirect plain black card and adhered them onto the card.
I then added a few Uniquely creative bling drops to finish the card off.
I think she looks very relaxed sitting in her chair among the stars. Now I’m off to do some reading myself….
Thank you for stopping by today.
I hope you find time to read hopefully among the stars too!
With Valentine’s Day tomorrow I thought I better make a card (any excuse to craft) ha ha!
So for this card I wanted to do some heat embossing and I used some silver embossing powder by wow embossing. The beautiful flower stamps are by Uniquely creative kits January mini stamp and colour kit . I used a red watercolour and watered it down for a soft pink.
The gorgeous card is Papermilldirect .
I hope you have a wonderful day and if your celebrating Valentine’s Day have a great day tomorrow.
I am up on the papermilldirect blog today.
I have this sweet fairy card today and I have used my watercolour paint to make this background.
You will also need:
- Watercolour paints and a brush
- Heat gun
Uniquely creative garden fairies stamp set
- Versamark ink pad
- White embossing powder (WOW)
- Black embossing powder (WOW)
- Nuvo Drops
To make my card base I trimmed down a piece of Blu Navy Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm to 4 1/8 and scored at 5 7/8. I then trimmed down a piece of White Card Hopsack 255gsm for my card front. Once this is done I used my watercolour paints to make the night time sky. I added the blues, pinks and yellows first before adding the black paint. You will then need to use your heat gun to dry this or you can leave it for a few hours to dry.
I then stamped the fairy images with Versamark ink and used black embossing powder to heat set this. I used a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and very gently watercoloured the images in. If you use embossing powder your paint should not run.
I then trimmed down a piece of Black Plain Card 250gsm and heat embossed the sentiment using some white embossing powder and my heat gun. I adhered this to my card front using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. I then adhered the whole panel and my images to my card base using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
To finish off the card I used some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml and added some sequins. I then added some white nuvo drops to the card to make them look like stars in the sky.
I had so much fun experimenting with watercolour paints onto different card stock. I always use a small amount of water when using watercolour paints so that the card doesn’t get too saturated and rip.
Hello again! Two posts from me today as I am up on the Papermilldirect blog today with this card:

I have two cards to share with you today. I made both of these cards with Uniquely creative flawed and fabulous mini stamp kit January .
The beautiful wooden flower comes in the kit and I used gold embossing powder over the top. I also used the Cross stitch circle frames die for the shaker part.
The beautiful flowers were coloured in with my Zig real brush markers and the sentiment is from Essential stamp kit 2019 that I heat embossed with white embossing powder. I also used the Inky alpha stencil for the background and used pigment ink.
The January mini stamp kit is available for pre order now and you can purchase it Here .
Thank you for stopping by today!
I’m up on the Papermilldirect blog today with this sweet Christmas Card.

To make the card base I cut down a piece of Pesca Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm to 4 1/4 and I scored this at 5 1/2. This is my card base.
I then die cut a heart from some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and adhered this onto my card base using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. The heart die is by Uniquely creative Nordic heart die.
