Enjoy the little things in life

Hello friends!

I hope your all keeping well. I wanted to make a sweet happy and colourful card and used the gorgeous Let the sun shine stamps and Snail mail stamp set. I also added a cute worm from the Worm wishes. These images are just a ray of sunshine and I had so much fun colouring them in!

To start with I ink blended the background using some distress ink in pink, blue and green. Once this is complete I adhered this to my card base. I then coloured in the images using copic markers and cut them out. I then adhered the images to my card with foam tape.

For the sentiment I used some bright pink card and heat embossed the greeting using white embossing powder. I then trimmed this down and adhered this onto my card.

Follow your dreams mouse card

Hello there! I hope your all keeping well and safe.

I have a bright and colourful card to share with you this Monday.

I have used Time For Tea Designs products to make this fun card! I started with the Starry Eyed Stencil and ink blended some distress ink over the stencil. I then stamped these cute mice and slices of cheese using the Baked With Love Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies. I coloured the images in with my copic markers.
Next I used the Dream Big Sentiment Die and die cut this using some coloured card. I adhered both pieces together and then adhered the sentiment onto my card. I then adhered the mice and cheese pieces.
Lastly I added my sentiment which I heat embossed onto some black card using white embossing powder.

This was so fun to make and you should always follow your dreams right?

A critter birthday

Hello! I hope you are enjoying your bank holiday weekend! Today I am up on the Papermilldirect blog showing you how to make this sweet critter card.

Products I used:

White Card Plain 250gsm

Raspberry Pink Plain Card 240gsm

Apple Green Card Plain 240gsm

Black Plain Card 250gsm

Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml

Stick it! 3D Foam Squares (940 pcs)

Stick it! Double Sided Tape 6mm

• pigment inks

• ink blending tool or sponge

• stamps

• markers

• embossing powder

• heat gun

• Dies/ cricut machine

To start with I made my card base using White Card Plain 250gsm which I scored and folded in half to make my card base. I then cut down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm, which is my favourite cardstock to craft with as its so versatile. I then used some pigment inks and my sponge to make a blended background. You can use whatever colours you like for your card, I used some pinks and yellows for my background.  I then added this to the front of my card base using Stick it! Double Sided Tape 6mm.

I then used another piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm to stamp my images and colour them in. I used copic markers for this as this card is absolutely perfect for using your alcohol markers on. Once all my images were coloured and cut I really wanted to add some more bright colours to my card.  I used a die to cut the grass and I used this lovely card Apple Green Card Plain 240gsm which is perfect for adding some grass or hills to your creation. I then die cut the words happy using Raspberry Pink Plain Card 240gsm which is another favourite of mine.

I then added all my elements to the card front. For the die cut Happy letters I used Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml to stick the letters down which is great as it sticks really well. I added some of this to grass die and placed the grass at the bottom of my card. I then stuck down the animals with some Stick it! 3D Foam Squares (940 pcs).  To finish the card off I stamped the word birthday and heat embossed this onto some Black Plain Card 250gsm (another favourite). I then added some Stick it! 3D Foam Squares (940 pcs) to the back of this and added this just under the die cut words happy.

I think adding some bright colours of cardstock to your card really adds fun and it will certainly make someone smile.
