Seeing stars

If I see any craft bits with stars I automatically think of Christmas so what better way to use this background stamp than on a Christmas card. I used a grey tone paper and heat embossed white embossing powder onto it, the stamp is by hero arts and I absolutely love it.

I then stamped these my favourite things stamps and coloured them in with my copic markers.

I have so many more cards to make it’s crazy!!!

I did make another card too! I used these adorable mama elephant stamps.

Okay so this doesn’t have stars as a background but it’s got polka dots…

I used some embossing paste for this one which looks like giant snow ha ha! I’ve actually really been enjoying my embossing powders and paste lately and I treated myself to some new bright colours which I will share on another card.

Thanks so much for popping by today I will be back soon!

Have a wonderful day

Bright baby card

Hello!! It’s a cold and dark day today in the UK so I thought I better make something bright and colourful!

I used some distress ink for the background and watercolored these images, I haven’t done much watercolour lately so I thought it would be a nice change.

I used some stamps from my favourite things, paper smooches and your next stamp.

I added some grass and sequins to finish the card off.

Now to find someone who’s recently had a baby…….

I have also made a start on some Christmas cards so here’s a little peek at a recent one.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you have a great weekend! I can’t believe we’re in November already!!!

See you soon

Mft superstar card contest

Hello friends! Thank you for visiting my blog, my favourite things stamps are back with their superstar card contest 2017 so I thought as I love their products so much I will enter it this year. You can enter the exciting challenge Here

I love these cute bunnies they are just lovely and I had so much fun making this card!

So here is the three cards I made for the colouring challenge and I had a blast doing it. All the products I used are by my favourite things. These dragons are so cute and so much fun to play with I added a die border and of course made this into a shaker card.

For this card I stamped these absolutely adorable cats and coloured them in with copics, I thought it would be fun to have a matching envelope too! I added some die cut banners and some vellum that I ran through my die cutting machine with the stitched embossing die to add some fun texture.

Thanks so much for stopping by I hope you enjoyed the cards and don’t forget to enter the challenge too!

Cards and colouring

Howdy! Hope your keeping well I can’t believe it’s the end of summer already! It’s been disappointing this summer I think we have had more rain than sun!

Anywhoo I have managed to escape to the craft room some nights and managed some cards and colouring.

I love these woodland animals they are so cute and I coloured these in with distress ink. The background is a grid stamp embossed with white embossing powder.

This little cute mouse took centre stage on this card, he’s so sweet.

These little images were coloured in with copic markers. I am still getting used to using these markers but I absolutely love them and the colours.

This shaker card was coloured using primsacolor pencils, this troll is just adorable and I know my girls will be fighting each other to use these stamps!

Thanks so much for stopping by I hope you have a great day!

Seaside fun

Hi hope your having a lovely afternoon!

I got some new stamps from my favourite things and made this shaker card, I thought it would be nice to add two shaker elements to this.

How sweet is that frog ha ha! It took ages to colour them all in but that’s the fun bit right? I definitely need to stock up on some more sequins though….

Have a fab weekend guys see you soon!

Fairy new home

Howdy! Hope you are having a lovely afternoon, I have been trying to do some more crafts recently but I am so behind on my project life album…..

Anyhoo I was going to do some of my album but made a card instead (as you do) so I went bright then extra bright…

I didn’t actually expect the background to be this bright but wowzers! So the only image that would fit this mad background was this utterly adorable stamp by 2cuteink. I coloured her in with copic markers and the background is distress ink. She is certainly bright and colourful think I will have to save this one for a friend who is nutty and colourful ha ha!

Thanks for stopping by

Have a fab day!

A few cards

Hi! Hope your having a nice week, at least it’s Friday!!

Just popping in with a few cards I made recently

So I keep going through phases of watercoloring or using makers so I thought it would be nice to use both and I love how the background turned out. Anything bright and colourful is always a winner.

This card was made just using markers and a background stamp, but I love this image thank you Tina if your reading this.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!!!

Fun cards

Hi! Thought I would share a couple of cards I made, and it’s my first go making a pop up box card which was great fun to make

I really love these stamps by my favourite things were so sweet and I loved colouring them too!

These stamps are by lawn fawn and I thought they were just adorable and so much fun, so what better way to make this more fun by adding a pop up box.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

You are awesome

Hi! Hope your having a nice day!

I made this card today using wplus9 stamps, and I coloured it in with watercoloring. I need to invest in some more flower stamps they seem so popular right now.

Plus my stash of flower stamps is literally these….

I wasn’t too sure how this was going to turn out and I nearly gave up but sometimes if you keep going the end result is worth it. I also made an envelope and stamped some flowers on that too.

Thanks for stopping by

Magical card

Hi! Hope your having a good day, I was sat in the office yesterday and I thought about making a bright colourful card. I wanted to use some fun stamps and thought these ones from my favourite things would be great!

After colouring them I wanted to add a bit more fun so I made a shaker card. You know how much I love shaker cards….

I made the background with some distress ink and added some sequins too, you can never have to many sequins right?

Hope this card makes you smile today!
