I am up on the Papermilldirect blog today showing you how to create this sweet animal die cut card.
I love creating animal toppers for my cards and with all the different coloured cardstock at papermilldirect you will find the perfect colour of card for your toppers.
The products I used for this card are:
You will also need:
• Die cutting machine
• Some animal dies (feel free to use your electronic cutting machines)
• Scalloped oval die
• Stamped sentiment
• Tag or banner die
• White embossing powder
• Heat gun
• Google eyes
To make the card base I used a piece of Buff Smooth Card 260gsm which I cut down and scored I half. The card front I used some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm which I also trimmed and adhered down using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then die cut the bunny pieces using some more White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm. I adhered all the pieces together using some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. I also added some google eyes to both the fox and bunny.
I then die cut a scalloped oval shape using some Natural Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm and adhered this down to my card centre using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. I then placed the die cut animals onto this piece with more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
To finish off the card I added some gems using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
I loved how this card turned out and feel free to experiment with different colours of cardstock. Papermilldirect has lots of colours to choose from.
I hope you have fun creating some sweet animal toppers.
Thank you for stopping by!
