Wedding day card

Good morning!

I’m up on the Papermilldirect blog with a tutorial on this wedding day card:

The products I used are:

White Card Hammered 255gsm

White Card Hopsack 255gsm

White Card Super Smooth 300gsm

Super Mirror Finish Card- Gold

Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm

You will also need:

• Large scalloped die

• Doily die

• Heart die

• God embossing powder

• Heat gun

• Circle die

• Sequins

• Twine

To make the card base I folded a piece of White Card Hammered 255gsm in half. I placed my scallop die over the top of the card with the die hanging a tiny bit over the top. If you do this it will not cut the card therefore leaving you with a folded card base. I then die cut a smaller scalloped die using a piece of White Card Hopsack 255gsm. I then adhered this onto my scalloped base using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. You will then need to die cut a doily I used some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm. I also die cut a circle using a piece of Super Mirror Finish Card- Gold. I then adhered the doily onto my card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. With the circle die I then used the next size down and die cut another circle using some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm. I adhered this onto my gold circle with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

You will then need to die cut two hearts using some Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm.

I heat embossed my sentiment with some gold embossing powder onto some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and I then trimmed this to make a banner. I then adhered the hearts and banner onto my card.

To finish off the card I added some twine and sequins. I adhered the sequins with Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml as I know they will stay put and not drop off my card.

I hope you enjoy creating this wedding card.

See you soon!

Vic
