Wonderful you

Good morning friends! Today I am up on the Papermilldirect blog with this card tutorial.

Sometimes its hard to make a card for someone who may be feeling a bit low, so I kept this card today clean and simple.

The products I used are:

White Card Super Smooth 300gsm

Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml

Stick it! 3D Foam Squares (940 pcs)

You will also need:

• A piece of vellum (or you can die cut another piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm)

• Stamps of your choice ( I choose this bear and mushroom)

• Twine

• Border edge die

• Scallop oval die

• Die cutting machine

• Embossing powder

• Zig markers or colouring medium of your choice

• Clear embossing powder

• sequins

• Black pigment ink pad

To start with I made my card base using a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm. I cut this in half, scored and folded in half to make my card base. I then cut an A5 card front with the rest of my card.

With the card front you will need to get your border dies and run this through the left edge of the card. If you don’t have any border dies you can emboss this if you like. I then stamped my greeting at the top of the card. After this you will need to die cut your vellum shape.

The next step is to stamp your images using pigment ink onto some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and sprinkle some clear embossing powder over the top and heat set this. This will stop your water colouring running and leaving a mess. If you are using marker pens or pencils you don’t need to do this step, just use your normal stamp pad. The pigment ink pad will let the embossing powder stick. After this is heat set use your watercolours gently.

Once you have cut the images out you will need to stick your vellum die cut down. I used some Stick it! 3D Foam Squares (940 pcs) and put them where the bear would be so no foam squares are showing. You will then need to stick down your images. To stick the sequins I

used some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.

Thanks for stopping by today I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
